Community Gardens and Community Based Organizations

  • As we grow into our next season we are building on and expanding the scope of our activities to assist in the development of gardens, sustainability education and agriculture in the Verde Valley of central Arizona. We are creating demonstration sites, to research, develop and show diverse applications of exemplary food, water and energy systems.
  • Crescent Moon Ranch garden project in Sedona, Arizona is a collaborative project with the United States Forest Service at beautiful Red Rock Crossing.
  • Cottonwood Community Garden website. A no-nonsense administrative site for gardeners interested in applying for a garden plot, rules and regulations.
  • The first CSA in the Verde Valley, we are committed to providing our share holders extraordinary quality and garden-fresh produce from our small, local growers. Since we are a non-profit, volunteer run cooperative, we are able to offer our share holders fruits and vegetables from several different growers in the area; all are small, family-run farms who have been growing in the Verde Valley for years.
